By the way there is a Yahoo group for Xtrkcad and a number of other parameter files are available for download.

Yes, you should have them. I have not registered my version and I have my Parm files. Look in your XtrkCad directory, there's a folder in there called Parmeters.

How do I enter these into XtC? Will it give me any parameter files? Any help will be appreciated!

There are not many real differences, mostly a rearrangement of a few menu items, and the deletion of the the registration one.
I believe they live in a directory under the program, with something clever like parameter in the name. I'll look when I get home and let you know how to get to them if you don't hear by then, there is a selection under one of the menus, but I don't remember which.
hi
Or download the latest version at http://www.xtrkcad.org and there is no registration required, free or otherwise.
