Does anyone use Unitrack? I just got a set from my LHS, Train Buddy inWake Forest, and with two ovals, I find I need another power lead for the inside track. However, I also need a place to plug it in to the power pack and there is only one female socket. Does anyone know if Kato makes anything I can use , maybe a gang-type plug or a piggyback type of set up, so I can plug into the pack. For me and my purpose, I can't say enuff good words about the track, for ease of setup and reliability, and the same can be said for my dealer, he is great!

N Scale Terminal UniJoiner, 35 Inch Leads Catalog: 24-818

N Scale 3-Way Extension Cord, 35 Inch Catalog: 24-827
All good stuff.

I use it in HO scale exclusively.
Without a plan I cannot visualize where your power needs are.
Kato makes a number of different wire connections availible for a price.
Jim: Many thx for the info, that is the same part # that Train Buddy gave me, however I could not find it on either his or Walthers' websites. The pix is really what I wanted, to see if it lookked correct. I assume that the blue "box" is the plug-in part of the 3-way, and the other end of the cord goes to the power pack. I really do appreciate your response.
To the other two forum members: Many thx to you guys too. I think KU5S has the answer I am looking for.
Don't really need the Unitrack feeder tracks (or solder). I use this method, and it works great, in either scale.

SF Bill,
I use HO Unitrack and found there was significant power loss over a 6 ft oval and decided to add more power connections. The following items can be found at the Kato website (www.katousa.com) under HO Unitrack Accessories:
24-818 Terminal UniJoiner, 35" Leads (1 pair) ($4.25)24-827 3-Way Extension Cord, 35" ($5.25)
My local model railroad supplier was able to get these parts. I added one extension cord and two terminal unijoiners to give me 3 power connections which improved performance.

I plan on 12 gauge Power Bus every 6 feet with more feeders in critical locations off the bus.
The Kato track has HUGE voltage drop. But with sufficient feeders (Ideally at every single joint) there should not be a problem.
