curved turnouts...help!
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 9:04 PM
hello all, just a quick question........ i have built a layout fromm all code 100 track in nickel/ silver. i need to find a couple of curved turnouts for it. im wanting to replace 2- 22% curves with curved nickel/silver code 100 curved turnouts. i checked atlas, but they dont mfg. them. anyone know of any others that will work in place of these 22% radius curves and match up to black tie n/s code 100? any help or input appreciated.

thank you![:)]

Try Peco--they make fairly sharp curved turnouts and they match up with Atlas code 100 fine in my experience.

Steve,

Like Jetrock says there's Peco -- http://www.peco-uk.com/retail/shop-map.htm

I've never seen Andre's suggestion (Piko) in the US.

Then there are also Shinohara (check Walthers) and ModelPower (try Trainworld).

Enjoy !!

Hello Steven,

Sorry for the non-relevant info, Reynauld’s Euro-imports, Euro Rail Hobbies, Internet hobbies have Piko equipment but I didn’t notice that the “A-tracks” weren’t at their list.[B)]
