A 2-6-0 leads a way-freight out of tunnel #5. The Loco was built from a MDC (Roundhouse) kit.

Engine No. 7, another Roundhouse built loco, takes on water. The water tank and tool shed were constructed from a Finescale Miniatures kit:

Engine No. 7 heads out on the mainline:

Love all the details and action.  I got a chuckle with the Blue star coming out of the smoke stack of the 2-6-0.

Them shingles are killer!

And the guy on the power pole....

gads, do I have a LONG way to go and learn

Dang, Bob, those are some great photos and the details are all outstanding. I haven't been around here too long so I may have missed previous photos as these are the first I've seen from you. The buildings, roads, vehicles, and general level of realism is some of the best I've ever seen. You've got to post on Weekend Photo Fun so you get a bigger audience. I'm just blown awy about how nice your scenes look and how good the technical level of the photos are. It's guys like you that make me want to rip up my layout and start over. Smile [:)]

Great photos of course. I have not seen you for a while. How is the new layout coming? I know you need to keep this one for a while for an open house, but do you have a track plan? I assume some of those great dioramas you built will go on the new layout.
If you think you have it right, your standards are too low. my photos http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/ARTHILL/ Art

As far a track plan, I've been sketching a few ideas. Nothing final as of yet. One thing for sure, I plan to include a good-sized staging yard, and an "around the room" concept design.

Have Fun.... Bob.

I really enjoy your photo's.  They are some of the most interesting scenes I've ever seen.  Thanks for sharing.
