Gorre and Daphetid pdf download
Posted by cutting on Thursday, August 2, 2007 7:44 PM
Has anyone downloaded the Model Railroader pdf file on John Allen's Gorre and Daphetid model railroad? Does it have new material, or is it substantially the same as the book?

I got a copy of "Railroading with John Allen" on EBAY so the $8.95 download would not be for me. If they would give you a look at a page or two that may help in your choice.

The couple of photos they show look like they are from old MR articles on the G&D.

Enjoy

IronRooster is right--I've downloaded, and it's a 25-or-so page collection of MR articles.

Worth it for me, as the G&D was THE rr in my youth, and the articles are very evocative.

But if you have much on the G&D already, my guess is there'd be some repetition in there.

A lot of stuff that was in the Model Railroad articles over the years was not in the Kalmbach John Allen book....So if you are a G and D fan I think it would be worth it....Cox 47
