Walthers printed backdrops are the most readily avalable and cost effective, Backdrop Warehouse has some good photographic backdrops but to me are $$$

Whistling [:-^]

Hi Cisco,

I got my backgrounds off ebay from a seller who maintains his page called "redsmydog"

Look him up and then go to the left side and look for backgrounds. click on that and his whole listing of them will come up.

They are beautiful, I am most impressed with them.  Photo quality.

I'm making mine look a little more three dimensional by mounting them on foamcore and then cutting the sky off of them.

It is definately worth the search.

By the way, where is Pancho these days ??

You might want to take a look at this.  Their stuff is very similar to backdrop warehouse's stuff in quality, but their prices are a lot better.

This is a very unlikely place, but a few years ago when I was in a large pet store browsing through the fish department I came across rolls of backdrops, obviously meant for putting behind aquariums.  They came on rolls 12", 18" and 24" wide in a variety of types of scenery.  You picked the type of scenery you wanted and unrolled the length you wanted.  I don't know if many pet stores carry this but it might be worth checking out.  The quality was quite good.

I checked this site and it looks like scenes may be comparable to backdrop warehouse easy backgrounds at about the same price. Easy Backgrounds are backdrop warehouse low end line although they have some high quality smaller size Ez Scenes for $18. I don'tnow if scenicking is the same quality as backdrop warehouse. Backdrop Warehouse also has blems for $9 on the modelRR page but there were none at this time. backdrop warehouse specializes in higher end large size custom backdrops but they have a variety of sizes and prices. backdropwarehouse.com hope this helps (sorry could not figure how to make a link - see link above)

Sorry Cisco  and Big Rusty,

"Redsmydog"  was his Paypal address. It should be listed under MERLYN'S HOBBY HOUSE.

Hope this stops the run around for you.

I cannot figure our how to make a web link. FAQ was no help, IE6 has no edit capability or rich text and other forum formats for links do not work here. There must be a way?

The Realistic BackGrounds on MERLYN'S HOBBY HOUSE can be purchased directly from realisticbackgrounds.com. I prefer backdropwarehouse.com for the large selection and quality.
