Thickness of blue foam
Posted by Blind Bruce on Friday, June 10, 2005 7:27 PM
For my new HO layout I have an open framework of 1X4's, 4X8 Ft.. The top will be 1/2" spruce plywood screwed to the frame.
Question: will 1" foam be as quiet as 2" would be?
BB.

Yes, but you can't do as much with the landscape--rivers, lakes, gulley's, storm drains.

Real life isn't flat.

Thanks Chip, I hadn't thought of that. I'll go with the 2".
