Yes, but you can't do as much with the landscape--rivers, lakes, gulley's, storm drains.

For my new HO layout I have an open framework of 1X4's, 4X8 Ft.. The top will be 1/2" spruce plywood screwed to the frame.
Question: will 1" foam be as quiet as 2" would be?
