I have Mozilla Firefox and I have not seen a pop up for a long time. I am also backed by Giant Anti-Spyware, Norton Firewall (And antivirus) as well as other software designed to ram the ads and anything else off of my computer. My ISP (Yahoo) also prevents pop ups from coming into my "territory" I also configure my computer to refuse active x controls while this reduces the "flashy pretty thingies that make websites spin" I can still do alot of my internet related stuff without too much trouble. The only pop up that I have running on my computer is the Ebay tool bar which alerts me within minutes of a bid or sale closure.
