I really studied that layout intensily and was going to build it, then I discovered a new way to use the area I had and went with something different. I think the CC is a great layout, especially if you compare it to the normal 4 by 8's out there (I realize the CC is not a 4 by 8). I'm going from memory but I think the only negative about it was that the back three tracks along the back horizontal were on a grade; not a big deal if you are using these tracks for "staging" but it is a big deal if you are planning on using it as a "yard " for some car storage only (they'll roll down hill). <br /> <br />My recommendation is go for it - no matter what layout you do it will have some kind of compromise in it. The Chippewa Central looks like it will be a fun layout to run.
