I really have to admit that handlaying track is certainly fascinating and it may even separate the men from the boys in our hobby, but for me it will remain a dream. First of all my soldering ability is not what it should be, second, I could not do it without a jig like Fast Track offers, which makes it, third, too expensive, as my "dream layout" has only 8 turnouts, but in two different sizes! And if you add all that detail, like tie plates etc. it is a heck of a job to do, especially when your hands are getting shakey .. [:-^]
