Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. My father was a C.P.R. Conductor and I have many memorable memories of trips I took with him.
I studied Bisness Administration at Ryerson Polytech (now Ryerson University) and made my career with the F.W.Woolworth Co. I managed two Woolworth stores: one in Fort William(now Thunder Bay, Ontario) and Vancouver, British Columbia. I was then transferred into the Woolco Division and managed Woolco Department Stores in Edmonton, Alberta, Regina, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Toronto, Ontario, Ottawa, Ontario, and then I retired, I now live in Winnipeg, Manitoba,
My wife, Pauline, and I have four children, three daughters and one son. One in Winnipeg, two in Thunder Bay, and one in Toronto. I kind of dropped them off as we moved around the country,
I am and was an active fisherman, hunter, skiier, hockey player, I didn't stop playing hockey untill I was 72, I was a goaltender and thoroghly enjoyed it. My knees are paying the price now though.
:That's it.
