I live in Dacula...I have been meaning to take a trip over there to visit.  I am so sorry that this has happened.  If I see anything I will let you know, but I would think that teenagers would be the guilty party.  They are running rampant around here...vandalizing and breaking in homes.  Gwinnett county has gone to heck in a handbasket.  The police do very little about it since the courts refuse the punish them.  The parents seem to not teach these punks to respect other people's property.

You may want to alert Legacy Station.  They sell used trains.

I'm in Jones County about 70 miles south. I'll sure keep my eyes open.
It is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me.

Stolen Property
Posted by SirDinadan on Friday, June 29, 2007 9:50 AM

Attributed more to an act of vandalism than robbery [The locomotive barn, rolling stock and buildings were destroyed]. Two of our locomotives and one caboose are missing from the site of the Vines Garden Railroad located in Loganville, Georgia.

Some time between the evening of June 27th. 2007 and mid-day June 28th. 2007.

An Aristo-Craft Model 22410, SD-45 [CSX # 8937] fitted with a Sierra sound system. A USA Trains, Model R22105, GP-7 [Chessie #5555] complete with Phoenix sound system. And - a USA Trains, Model R12006, Caboose [Burlington #14112]. Were removed from the site.

If anyone in the Atlanta area or during "shopping" on any Internet auction site may be suspicious as to origin of similar models being offered for sale. [The SD-45 is missing the covers for the smoke unit and control switch area as these were left in the debris.] Please contact our club secretary Lawrence McFall at 770-554-9697.
