I worked with Tony the past two years on his animated film, "Mercury the Magic Train".  His energy and imagination were a true joy to experience.  He was a real renaissance man, and it was an honor to work with him.

I'm sorry to report the passing of Tony Moscatelli, fellow train hobbyist and GR advertiser (TrainsR4kids at www.trainsr4kids.com). Tony, 67, died suddenly on June 15 at his home.

In 1987, Tony began collecting model trains. He soon created a web site about Mercury, the magic train, to re-introduce children to trains. Until his death, he was working on an animated film called "Mercury the Magic Train". According to his wife, Ashton Laurent, the film will be completed and shown at his memorial service.

Arrangements are being handled by Virginia Funeral Chapel in Dongan Hills. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
