road railers by aristo
Posted by 3609 on Friday, April 27, 2007 2:19 AM

Hi Guys,

My name is 3609 and I come from down under, (Australia). I would like to know if any other person has had trouble with the rubber tires on the aristo road railers becuase all of mine have micro splits in them, which run acrross the tread of the tire. My road railers are always kept inside and the wheels in the raised position when running. They are only 2 years old and a few of the tires have fallen off in pieces. Your help would be very much appreciated.

Regards  3609

Hmmm...

Go over to http://www.aristocraft.com and ask there. I think somebody can get you some new tires.

If you go over to ARISTO-CRAFT you are suppose to sign in  with YOUR REAL name that is required by ARISTO-CRAFT .  i have rubber tires on an older RS-3 AND  a little critter engine , i replace them about every two  years , some times they break before that .  BEN

Hi 3609, (by the way that's a number not a name)

This is the item of topic -

It sounds like a bad batch of rubber if it got dry rot so quickly. Navin in the parts department can help you out. Aristo phone & email - 973-351-9800 / aristo@mindspring.com .

Hi 3609

I would suggest contacting Aristocraft sounds like a crook batch of tyres and they will want be made aware of it.

They will also be able to fix the situation for you.

Am I correct in thinking your ID tag is a class of NSWGR steam locomotive??

regards John
