Hi William

Well that is a very nice surprise THANK YOUBow [bow]Bow [bow]Bow [bow]

A friend in Perth had?? the coupling I wanted when I described what I wanted, it was I got one of those wondered what it was off of and its brand so next week with a bit of Luck the right coupling will arrive.

Then its how do I empty the memory stick for the camera must be in the instructions somewhere and take a picture of it with all its missing pieces replaced to send you.

And a little surprise that you will need some very coarse scale "O" Brass rail or very small "G" brass rail for the posts.

Erm!! whats TX the abbreviation forQuestion [?]

Hi William

Will pass those on to my provider and see if he can sort anything out so we don't bore the forum to death with a parts search.

Problem is Lionel is out of them and who knows when they will make some couplings.

I am finding out several major people who put trains out don't always carry parts so I make my own.

Hi William

What is the Error message are you getting when to try to Email me.

Looks like other sources will have to be looked at to get some spare couplings for the loco and cars typical they are different and are the most likely thing I can think of that will break in service

I managed to score a gondola and now have to ask about grab rails.

Email still bouncing off the ISP. Check your settings.

Good news, most all stuff is ok and ordered but some they did not have so I have some LGB screws in a bag (so will use this as a back up). Also got on order Kadee just incase the front did not do what you want.

On order: Steps, Coupler Adaptor, (just in case) Kadee couplers

Could not get: Several screws, Coupler Complete

On hand: Screws (different sizes) in pack from LGB.

Now we wait for them to come in!!!!

Sent the Testing Email to yeah! Spam filters from a ISP is bad and that is why I have my own filter (IMHO) and using Spam Bully 3. Don't care for there upgraded ones. Now Zone Alarm has filtering and going back to the older version to. Computers Grumpy [|(]

Will be in town in AM to the small but humble train store (all he does is that brand and MTH).

But we will get parts for you if we have to call them!

I will also ask him his thoughts on any more parts that would/could go out so you can have them on hand to do a fix it quickly.....don't worry about the money at this point, lets just order it up! Get you back on the tracks.

Hi Dave

William currently has a parts list rather than turn it into a free for all and not know where I am  it is best to work this one at a time.

I do however greatly appreciate your offer as some how I have to track down the parts.

It is a pain in theCensored [censored] not having a Lionel dealer in AUS

If you wish to make enquiries as to what parts are available the loco is 8-5104 AT&SF "G" scale 0-4-0 its one of the ones that where in the sets

It may be worth my while getting a load of parts for the beast assuming they can be got.

Once its back in good shape I might try and track down a car or two for it.

It's quite a nice looking loco, well I think so.

William had problems Emailing me would you be kind enough to try so I can try to find out if I have a problem this end with incoming mail from the US and hopefully get it sorted.

once again thanks for your offer

Hi William

Thanks for the offer I might have to take you up on that the time difference is going to be a bit of a problem and have not found out Lionel's snail mail address yet.

There is no guarantee they will have the parts I need but its worth a try.

Email me off the forum please with the arrangements you wish to make.

regards and thanks John

Ps its turned out to be about four or five parts I need including some screws.

LIonel part help please
Posted by John Busby on Friday, March 23, 2007 2:30 AM

Hi guys

I recently received a Lionel "G" red AT&SF 0-4-0 train set loco

It has two parts missing the Front coupling and a Cab Step.

can any one assist with part Numbers for said parts so I can contact Lionel and see if they still have any in stock I know they still have a few "G" parts in stock and the search will be a lot easier with numbers.

Regards John
