New power for the C.J.and M.

Hurried up yo get home from work today to run some trains . The weather was beauitful . I brought out all of the C.J.and M. gondolas (18) and the caboose for this train . The gon's will stay out now till October or so . Anyway the little 44 tonner hauled this train around with no problem and I was very pleased . As you can see by the light post in the fore ground we have a little after winter clean up and repair to do but that is kinda fun too. I took a few photos to share here , hope you like them .

Great weathering job on that diesel! As a previous poster mentioned, it's nice and subtle. I'd have thought that was the real thing if it hadn't been for the oversized fence in the background.

Beautiful layout, Mike. What part of the country are you in? Nice subtle weathering on the new switcher (its so easily over done!).

Recently the C.J.and M. railroad recieved a new 44 tonner for its gravel operation runnung out of Todusville . We will see if its up to the task . Hope you enjoy the pictures . The top picture is the after shot , re-lettered and weathered and the one below is when it was brand new and sporting its Pensy herald .
