TM:

Great idea, there. Now I'm gonna build one--as soon as I build a spare flatcar!

Tom, IF I had extra wheel's I would do the same then I would have 2 the other is a wheel car from my work train set ( USA ). I started leaving my camera in my truck, it's that time of year when BART ship's car's out for repairs on flat bed truck's.

The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.

I think it would look fabulous once painted. If I had spare wheels, I'd be making rolling stock. Thanks for posting

Thanks guys,

Tom, they are going to be painted rust red and be used as the load. I am planning to order some furniture from larrygscale.com for the other flat car. I also finished another flatcar with bracing to haul other items. Will post pics of that tomorrow.

I think your wheel rack will look pretty cool on a flat car....Throwing them in a box would look out of scale on a siding or round house layout  :)...

You have to do something with all your plastic wheels! I pile them in a box.

Hey everyone,

I just finished this a few minutes ago. It is put together with small nails, on both the bottom and top of the frame, with a dab of glue for extra support. This will go on the AMS flat car I am planning to order. Hmmmm, maybe I will order 2.

Anyway, tell me what you think. I still have to paint the frame, as well as the wheels.
