ER, Thanks I will give them a try.

The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.

For a free CAD program try A9CAD http://www.a9tech.com/   for track-planning you can get a trial copy of CADrail http://www.cadrail.com with a limited number of objects per drawing.

We have used CADrail since 1995 for commercial layout planning. Apart from the model railway specific application it can also be used as a conventional 2D-CAD program. We'd rather fight than switch! Wink [;)] Big Smile [:D]

You're using cab control where you switch "blocks" between different throttles?

That's easy. Here's what you need to do.

Use insulated joiners to make the crossing 2 blocks. The two tracks are isolated in the crossing.

All you need to do to cross over is set the direction you're going to the same throttle. If I could find my CAD program CD, I'd draw you a picture.

I used to switch all 4 turnouts and let a train run around the outside to the inside, around the inside to the outside...

Tom The Brat, I would like to run in two drictions with access to both branch lines via two switchs that replaced the pararell sections next to the 19deg. crossover. I Know I will need to insullate parts of my cofiguration for the branch lines and for the direction changes. in addition one of the branchs is point to point and the other is a reverse loop that will at some point be a closed loop with bi-directional access from the main. Sorry I don't have a diagram to work with.

How do you want them?

I built a double crossover with them a couple years ago. They're very nice.

I would surjest changing to LGB switches then what you are asking can be done.

Anyone have a good fool proof way of wiring #6 switchs in a double silp configuration. I also plan on adding 10'diameter switchs in place of the parrell scetions next to the 19 degree crossover. All the switchs are aristocraft stainless.
