Are you sure it's bad?

They are screw-in bulbs.

Put a small piece of rubber hose over tha glass and try tightening it.

You said it in one there Ray, rip 'em out. First thing I do with a Bachmann coach is rip the lot out and put 2 Massoth boards in fed from 2 LGB ball bearing pick up axles. Look great but it does double the cost of the coach.

Cheers,

Replacing bulb in Bachmann combine?
Posted by Ray Dunakin on Friday, March 2, 2007 12:26 AM
Does anyone know how to replace a burned out bulb in a Bachmann combine or coach? I recently bought a used combine which has two bulbs for interior lighting, and one is burned out. I've removed the car body from the floor, but I don't know how to disconnect the bulb (if it even can be disconnected); nor do I know what type of bulb to replace it with.

If all else fails, I may just rip them both out and put in low voltage, "warm white" LEDs instead.
