YES YES YES (please dont type in all caps)
Yes this ( I thought this was about the Industrial Mogul) is an excellent small layout loco, Sierra couches are the correct proportion for an engine of this size. It shouldnt have any trouble with your grades as long as you have a good power supply. It will look OK on the 4' dia curves, in fact it is about as big as you can go for that diameter.

FMRICCA

Yes the Bachmann Spectrum mogul will work on that diameter curve. as well as their
4-4-0. I don't know about you, but I favor wood burners and I have my eye on the E.T.&.W.N.C. mogul. But you know what you like, So you choose
I have had no personal expeirience with any Bachmann equippment exept the 4-6-0 that cam in my set (Gold Rush).

Updated 7/22/04: I need to add a Caviet here...[D)][D)][D)]

When I first replied to this I thought it was about Bachamnns 2-6-0 INDUSTRIAL mogul, not the Spectrum 2-6-0 Centenial Mogul....

BE ADVISED, the Spectrum Mogul WILL NOT negotiate the 4 foot diameter curves, it needs 6 foot MINIMUM to run properly...but should be fine with Aristo's Sierra cars

The Industrial Mogul WILL negotiate 4 foot dia curves easily and ALSO looks great with Aristo's cars.

Sorry for the confusion[D)][%-)][D)][%-)][D)][%-)]

On the Centenial 2-6-0.....
The guide pins inside #2 driver are there to keep the driver from falling off on 1100 curves.
However, they also cause a lot of drag, and hang up on some (not all) switches.
If you remove them, 1500 minimum works best.
Most of the newer Bachmann 1:20 Spectrum stuff does NOT follow the LGB 1100 Rule.
The nose overhang can be excessive, so don't plan on trying to hook to anything (the old 2-4-2 pilots work for getting a coupler on the front) to them on the nose.
All of mine have been converted to oil, updated to round domes, 3 out of 4 headlights change to Pyle National style, short, straight stacks.
Work fine around here, especially hauling 12 passenger cars up 150' of 4%.
