LGB/eBay Question
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, February 16, 2007 2:26 PM

I bought a book (or what I thought was going to be a book) #00724 and I am feeling it is a free pamphlet for people but I wanted to get my "ducks in a row" before I blasted the seller.

Ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300076625087&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=020

Ebay #: 300076625087

Are these booklets free to the dealers or do the dealers have to buy them?

I believe this is something that is not free. If you go to Watts web site you can see that some booklets are listed as free, but some are not.

Yeah, odd, since the description states it is a 20-page booklet, and this is copied right from the description on that page so linked:

"LGB # 00724 20 p. booklet"

What do you mean by "Ducks in a row"?

I never or very rarely buy any sort of book, nearly everything is avaiable free and you can down load it!

If you go to the lgb web site you will find that book for sale at 6.99 so my guess is that it is not a item that is free but you are smart to check it out, there are some not so honest people on ebay

Ian,

What I ment about Ducks in a row is to have all the info. about the booklet from either LGB or members that know for fact this book was free to sellers of LGB products.

As a rule of thumb when using Ebay.

Always know what your bidding on before you bid or buy.

Hope this helps.
