Rich:
Yes, you have answered my questions. I suspected that was the case with this rather long model. You saved me $125.00, which I will happily spend on something else however!! The information is disappointing. I really liked the detail I saw on the piece. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge. Hope you get things started soon.

The minimum recomended diameter is 8' anything smaller may cause dereailments or side clearance problems. The doodlebug has only one drive motor and as it notes in the instruction manual that it is not designated to be a locomotive and you should not attempt to pull more than one or two trailing cars. I have not run it yet since I am still in the planning stages of my layout design. The detail of the bug is quite good although I did have to take the roof off and reattach one of the passenger seats. I hope I answered your question.[8D]

Has anyone any experience with the Aristo Craft Doodlebug? Along with the track I need to expand, I am thinking of getting a Doodlebug too!! I unfortunately have 4 ft. dia. turns. Are 4 ft. dia. turns too tight for the Doodlebug? Also, does it have one motor or two?
