The turntable by Fall Creek Railroad Structures can't be simpler. The link doesn't show the photos anymore so look for their ad in Garden railways for a photo of the turntable. Their email address is fcwrr@aol.com
The turntable is fully assembled and prewired for track power. The price is somewhat high, but compared to price of all the switch tracks and added space I would need to duplicate what one turntable can do, it was worth the price. Plus I didn't have to build it, and that saved a lot time for other projects.
I had my turntable built using Llagas Creek code 250 rail since this is what I use on the layout. I believe it can use LGB code 332 rail as well, but you might want to double check this

i would love to have a turntable but i have always thought that i did not have the ability to build one. However with the construction of the new Olympic Park station in Sydney, i saw how well a reversing loop worked; i have opted for that. Having got a reversing loop i soon realised that one is a waste of time you need two. I even think a Wye would be ok i had never seen one work until i came to live in Queensland.
With that new station for the first time i saw the benefit of having platforms on both sides of the the train, disembarking first on one side and them embarking on the other side.

It took a bit for me to work out that was a turntable, i thought it was a manhole cover at first, quite interesting though.
Did you know that here in Australia you are not allowed to call them manholes any more, to be politically correct "access chambers" when will it end?
The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.
I scratch built mine from TUFBoard - a composite wood/plastic.
It still needs to be connected to my yard, but I have to wait for the snow to disappear first.
