Here is a pic of my new steam loco, he is an Accucraft UK Edrig 0-4-0 or a four coupled side tank loco. He is what the Brits call 16mm narrow gauge or 1:19th scale running on 32mm or O gauge track. I can also quickly change the wheel gauge to run on 45mm track like LGB ect. He is butane gas fired right now, but that will change later this year when a new boiler from the UK arrives that is a true coal burning boiler and will have have a working whistle added at that time. The only modification so far has been the addition of real glass in the front cab plate. Lacking an outdoor layout right now, all my steaming is on blocks on the kitchen counter. As they come from Accucraft, the locos are quite tight and need several hours of steaming to "bed in" the chassis. Once everything wears in nicely, Edrig will steam slowly around the garden without much attention. It is manualy controled, but is already set up for RC should one want to fit it up. I will leave mine manual as the coal boiler requires more attention, and I prefer manual control. Enjoy the pic, I will try to get one outdoors in the next day or so, it will be very cold here so the steam plume will be nice. Cheers Mike and Michele T
