Chateau De Vic with lights as per the thread: "Solar Lights made Idiot Proof"

http://www.trains.com/trccs/forums/1004607/ShowPost.aspx

And here is one of the taller bents for the bridgework up to the Chateau

I have a "pressed gang" coming over in the morning to work on the bridge. Hope to have it complete by Sunday night.

To answer "iandor" question.

Who want a train doing the rocking?

The purpose of a Chateau is to get away from everything else.

Hey guys, take it easy on an old man.  That is ten still photographs merged into a single animated GIF file.  When you get on the high side of 60 years, try holding the camera sill for twn seperate shots!

Honeymooners enjoy watching the falls.

Surely you jest.  Imagine that, honeymooners enjoying watching people fall because of the earthquake!

(This is all meant in good humour...I know it's hard to keep the camera still at times.)

If you look VERY HARD in the pics of "workshops" you can see parts of the bridges that will eventually form the "elevated line form Rosebud Falls to the Chateau.

Chateau De Vic

Chateau De Vic perched above the lovely Rosebud Falls.

Ideal Honeymoon hideaway.

Let's not deal with the question of why there are little kids on the Honeymoon.

Honeymooners enjoy watching the falls.

My wife decided that since the Chateau is so far back from the viewing area it would be a waste of time to place all the furnishings inside as per the instructions.  These furnishings will be used elsewhere as per HER instructions.

I have found a very simple way of installing solar powered lighting.  See under Scratchbuilding and kitbashing - Malibu solar lights.
