Track Advice

Hi there, I am new to model railroading and I need some advice on what kind of track to use. I am building an HO scale layout for my 4 year old son and I to enjoy. Looking for most user friendly track for a beginner. Thank you

If you can get it where you live Peco flexi track   or another brand to do the same job

Atlas is the best and easiest to attain.

The most "user friendly" track would be some of the snap-together track with a built-in roadbed.  Kato would probably be the most reliable.

I never use sectional track, but you need to get ahold of a February 2007 copy of Model Railroader magazine and read their article about using Kato sectional track to build a layout.

You're on the G scale forum mate, pop over to the model railroader pages via the forums link and you'll find loads more help.

Of course you could get him some G scale and stay here too!
