Well done Tom;

 I just went over to the club secretaries palce and picked up 35 m track ie about 120', its all in my car and going 1100 km up to my place in Queensland tomorrow. So you can guess what i will be doing in early 2007.

Actuually it is 20 lengths of 3.69 m (12') all in a 40 mm plastic pipe. put the end caps on and feed it into the car.

Ian; I got two packs of the LGB 1.5m rails just before Thanksgiving.  (We yanks needed something between Halloween and Christmas to call a holiday, so we had lunch with the Indians and made a big deal of it.)  In the spring they will for the extension from Vine Arbor on out to the edge of Green Apple Orchard.  Wish I could get the longer rails, well, I can, but the freight cost is more than the cost and freight of 3 packs of 1.5m stuff.  I just solder it into the 3m lengths.
