MAJOR problem with Aristo craft.

I had a problem with a leaking boiler on my 1 week old live steam engine. It cost me $50.00 to return it for repair.

1 day old heavy weigth passenger car immediately smoked. $15.00 to get a replacement.

I had a problem with 2 MTH's engines. MTH had a prepaid shipping label, after their technicion called me, in a couple of days.

I remember the SD9 being 'in development" since the first I got into this crazy hobby 5 years agoSigh [sigh]

Whatever happened to the 2-8-0 they were developing? Seams like Aristo is good for one new item per year, the Mallet last year, the E unit this year, and next year????? The dice are rolling...

   Have fun with your trains

AS much as I like Aristocraft products, their product development times seem like an eternity.  WHen they announce something new I gauge my interest based on whether it will come out before I retire.  (7-9 years) While I can still afford it.Banged Head [banghead]

The Aristo Report can lead the wrong direction.

I like to keep track of what they are "currently " working on.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Long live Outdoor Model Railroading.

If you have older issues of GR, say, 4, 5 and maybe 6 years back.....

Check out the ads and see how long some of this has been "in development" or "coming soon".

When they aren't anymore, they just quietly fall off the end of the list.....

The interesting part is the GG1 is still listed.

The big question is: How many YEARS will it take for them to arrive at dealers?
