i want to bulit a tunnel for my new O scale New york Central Flyer set ,any one have pics that i can look at or are there any good books to look into or web sites  , later when we move into a house then i want to start  a large layout scenry, i seen some nice tunnles made with foam and plaster with rock molding that made it look real , i think i want to use the cuver not the straite track

There are a few out on my site, link below.  Couple of "rules of thumb". Do NOT make the tunnel any longer than you can reach, otherwise you will need "air shafts" in the middle so that things can be retrieved.
