DNRR UPDATE

well I see I'm behind the power curve on my post so here is your ansure the DNRR is DOING NUTIN RAIL ROAD ( MY wife's version DAVE AND NANCY RR ). as stated above the Building has been on hold my helper has been layed up with multi fracturs to her left leg. so i have been spending more time in Cal then in Reno Nv. Plus I've been working nigths driving all over Ca. The work that i have completed is going to be ripped out an lowered. The new plan will have three levels starting at 42" working it's way up to 60" (almost walk under). the main level will be at 48" all of this is subject to change. I have built some over head storage at the 8Ft level so I will need access to it, I also have a heater access door in the Middel of my space about 10ft above the floor . I plan on going to the new house this weekend and working on the rail road.

Whats DNRR?

Well The DNRR is on a tempory hold. Why, the railroad is in Navada and I'm back in Ca. I did get the basic size of the layout (indoor) established utlizing shelfing units. approxamitly 21x20.5. The paper layout is not going to fit so I'm building it on the fly. I still have the 2 track main line, BUT it's now a compound folded dogbone, the loop at upper end will have a reverse loop in it. So I can keep the look of a 2 track main. I know I will have a wireing nightmare ahead of me so I'm going to use a block control and lots of  sensors. The revised designed still has the big S 10Ft & 11.5Ft diamitor and a 9ft diamitor loop. Hopefully I will have the room for 2 passing sidings along the big S. thats all for now.
