There are  limited big locos available but I would suspect they will be made eventually - If you are thinking of going into large locos use the biggest radius track you can get and invest in a big power supply especially if double heading is contemplated

No.  Aristo and USA are the two main companies that make mainline diesels.  The newest style is a Dash 9, I think, I am more into narrow gauge steam though.  Do a google search for Aristo-Craft Trains and/or USA Trains, that should give you better information on the more modern mainline diesels.

I'm thinking about getting into Garden RR.  But what I want to know, is there any SD70MACs, AC4400s, SD60Ms, or any newer style locos available?
High horsepower moves me!!!
