Asleep at the Throttle

Guess I've been asleep at the throttle for a while.  I just found the section in Garden Railways where Wallpapers are being displayed for free down loads.  Is this something that just snuck in under the radar? or did I miss the discussions? or was I asleep at the keyboard?  This is a marvelous concept and a beautiful way of sharing the hobby, especially from some of the highly skilled "pro's" out there.  Don't think any of mine would make as beautiful a shot as the ones posted by Marty and the others, but after I get the 'high trestle' built up to the top of Rosebud Falls and get the "mountain top chalet" built, I might have something respectable enough to brag about. 

Rene, what are the rules and or procedures for getting photos posted there?

You mean you'd like to submit a photo to become wallpaper? Sure, that should not be a problem. We would need the photo taken at the highest resolution your camera allows so that it can be propertly formatted for wallpaper.

I had never gone to the down loads until you posted this.
 My wife controls what wall paper goes on this computer. I have no idea how to load one up.

I think it would be great if they had yearly wall paper photos to pick from.
 they have to be high pixel and very in focus. thats where I have troubles, is focus.

 I have a Christmas Card photo that I plan to send out this year, maybe I need to send it to Rene and see if it is clear enough to enlarge for a winter time wall paper???
It was taken last winter of my Aristo Craft BN Sd-45 heading to Minersville with a bright sun and fresh snow.

Boy I can't wait just thinking about snow on the RR...

Marty , did you ever talk about how your built you rotary plow ?  My wife wants me to build one and she liked yours and wants me to build one like it .

 yes, at the ECLSTS two years ago I had a clinic. This winter I hope to rebuild it and make it more realistic. It was built for function, not looks.
If you do a search on MLS there is a thread in rolling stock.

After I get finish the "high line" and get it full of vegetation it might make a pleasant picture.  I have been told, from sources that remain anonymous that my mountain top chalet is in Santa's Bag.
