Yes it has!! Spent a lot of time on it this summer putting the pond in and building the incline around the rockery. When we get a nice day I'll do a shot from the back bedroom window where you & Doreen stayed. I'm planning another circuit for next summer which will run at the height of the decking, so this will be raised down the sides of the garden and around the shed but will run next to the main line down the bottom of the garden forming a junction. There will be some pretty tight curves on this so I've increased the LGB roster with a mogul and I have the USA 2-4-0 goods starter set on order, this'll give me the curves I need as well - £170 not a bad deal of e-bay. We had part of the decking roofed over a while ago so we can sit out and still watch trains in light or showery rain.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I had to laugh...at my open house a few weeks ago it was just as windy that day. The wind was funneling between the houses so to speak. My train was blown off twice at the south end curve. I had just finished the details on my LGB caboose the night before. Fresh colours for vintage Canadian Pacific. Well soon it was layed over with the rest of the train. So much for the new paint job. Oh well...just send it back to the works. Happy RR'ing! Later eh...Brian.
Looks good to me Kim,We have had some windy times here as well, but it has been pretty gusty, rather than a sustained blow. We usualy get high winds in August it maybe these winds arriving late.

If it's blowing a GALE then I would say that your new WINDMILL is working as it should. My new windmill is on the workbench waiting for me to weather it a bit. Thanks for sharing the pictures of you railroad, it is VERY NICE. I have had the same problem with my railroad and the WIND and I cured it by installing metal wheel's and putting weight in the cars.

I have the same problem on my one bridge ,when it's windy it blowes the cars off the tracks . Ben
It's blowing a gale here in Blackpool, but it's dry, so we're running trains. Took delivery of this little beauty yesterday, wonderful. I bought a mogul when LGB first introduced them in the late eighties and it cost me £600, here we are some 17 or so years later and it's £395, mind you the sound isn't as good, a simple chuff chuff on analogue but the whistle is superb. I don't like the dummy knuckle coupler on the tender above the hook and loop, but that's a simple saw job, by the way, I've gone back to hook and loops, I got sick of uncouplings when I wasn't looking. I bought this from Scottish Garden Railways, the owner, Sandy, even put a battery in the tender. Nice touch.
