Thats a possibility that they are clearing old inventory.

If they are, its a SCREAMING GOOD DEAL, the Big Hustler kit is now about $30.00 !!!

I checked out Walthers and they still are listing the kits at full price of $65.00 !!! No changes to there HO or N offerings . My concern is that they might be pulling out of G scale to concentrate on HO and N. Either way had to jump on the opportunity, 50% off is something you dont ignore.

Hi,

No, I haven't heard anything about them. I looked up MDC on Model Railroader's master company list (an internal document we use here), and sure enough, they're still around and listed.

Some of the G scale stuff has been out for 8-10 years, so I guess it's not surprising they would clearance some of it out. Wish I could tell you more.

Rene

Warning, heads up for MDC G scale line

Heads up, everyone...

MDC has posted 50% price reductions on their G scale Big Hustler and powered Speeders. You have to order direct from MDC.

This is usually a warning sign that the line is being discontinued. I am giving everyone a heads up if they are interested in getting these, I havent heard anything about the model being discontinued. Chances are they could just be re-tooling for a new improved model but I just placed an order for 2 hustlers and 2 speeders. I'm not taking that chance.

To Rene, whats the word about this from MDC? have you heard anything?
