Excellent !!! These are the type of buildings for which I am looking !!! Now, I will just have to enlarge the plans at work. Luckily, I work for a copier company.
Thanks again and have a safe & joyous holiday season !

Hi Dale,
I found this site on the net today, and this guy have some German-looking buildings - you'll find some PDF-files that ,might be of help to you. Don't know how to insert a link but the address to his site is: http://www.gilbert-gribi.ch/
Hope this will be of some help to you - it gave me a lot of ideas and inspiration....
John,
Thanks for the help ! I will try those avenues for some plans. Finding a copy of Continental Modeller may not be possible at my local library here in the US, but, I will give it go anyway.
Have a happy holiday season !
Dale
Hi Dale
Two thoughts
Do a web search using the key word Warhammer and try blowing up the buildings listed as being Empire terrain by say three or four times then adjusting doors and windows to the correct size.
Or go to your local library and check out the Continental Modeller magazines this is a UK publication for UK modellers modeling other than UK trains you might find something there.
regards John
I guess I am looking for a small community. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
So far, I have found a ton of photos on the internet, plus, I have photos from when I was stationed there a few years ago. I thank you for the offer !
My goal is to create a small alpine village named "Krausbach" after my godparents, Karl & Christine Kraus, who emigrated to the US from Germany after WWII. The main line into the station will be serviced by my two LGB LCE trains. I have both the ICE-2 and and ICE-3. The local line out of the station will utilize a blue and white steeple-cab electric loco pulling two Schollenbahn blue and white coaches. I will also use the steeplecab to pull some small boxcars on which I am going to airbrush the "Krausbrau" logo.
The next structure that I am going to build is the Krausbrau brewery to support the beerhall. I am planning to build it as a brick structure with a couple of additional outbuildings as part of the brewery facility.

Here is the beerhall so far. I still have to finish the rest of the windows, add the doors, the stone foundation and the inside floor.
I am currently scratchbuilding a german beerhall for my outdoor layout. I am looking to see if anyone has plans for any german / swiss buildings that they would be willing to send along. Thanks !
