Realize, this loco is 3 times as long as an HO loco, and 27 times as "big."
Thats an impressive bit of hardware - 100 car train sounds good - Lets see USA trains are currently $63.89 for a 70 ton hopper .... Soooo thats $6389 dollars - plus a bit of dry transfer to renumber them.. Each one is 17 inches long so thats 141 feet long - hmmmm It sounds good but i reckon you might need to start a wee bit smaller .I would love to see some pictures of it pulling 15 or so cars tho- should look great. My reference tractive effoert table suggests that 100 might be a wee bit optomistic

Well I got my first Conrail GP30 G Scale locomotive and man it is huge I cant wait to get my SD70Mac in ..I have never had a locomotive this big i can't wait to build my out door layout ..and get my 100 unit conrail coal train a rollin
