In 1:24, a 10' long item would be 5" long.
In 1:22.5, it would be 5-1/3" long.
In 1:20.3, 5.9" long.
In 1:16, it would be 7.5" long.
That's a big difference....
Somewhere between 1:20 and 1:24. Many toy tractors are nominally 1:24, and other around 1:18, which may work as well. The "nice" thing about farm equipment is that sizes varied, but general appearance was rather similar across a product line.
