Jolly old England fell threw. Whell back to the sirch. anyone have some old 2-4-2's they don't want?

Might be worthwhile to contact Hartland Locomotive Works to see what they have in the way of drivers. They sell parts individually, but I'm not sure anything's "cataloged" per se. What diameter are you looking for? LGB sells their Mogul drivers, which are 1 3/4" diameter. May not be the most inexpensive things.

user="S&G Rute of the Silver River" I'm trying to create a 2-4-4-2 and am having one heck of a time trying to find some that is afordable to a teen budet. I'm starting to think I shuld mill some at work.
Bob Baxter built a 2-4-4-2 out of 2 bachmann sidetankers, check out the link.

you can pick up the older ones on ebay for a reasonable price still. I was thinking of doing the same using 2 LGB Toytrain drives, but they've gone loony pricewise again.
Be sure to check out the rest of the guys on this website, some of the best large scale modeling I've ever seen. I've met a couple and they're great guys.
