I just addressed this in another thread. I think I have it figured out. Read on...

Hi Guys,
I think I just figured it out. Take a look at the two tests below. It's the exact same image link. The second one works, while the first one doesn't.
The difference? When I pasted in the first link, it was already anchor text; that is, hyper-linked blue text. That's what our forum software is having a problem with. So, in the second text, I took the hypertext, pasted it into Notepad to make the link plain text. Viola, it worked!
So, if you're having a problem with posting photos, convert your text to plain text.
Test 1:
http://1stclass.mylargescale.com/BillC/fr37cp.jpg" border="0" />
Test 2:
Here's a copy of those links (with an intentional * behind the img so the system won't actually display the image) so you can see what I'm talking about:
[img*]http://1stclass.mylargescale.com/BillC/fr37cp.jpg[/img*]
Notice how the URL in Test 1 is hyperlinked and the URL in Test 2 isn't. That's where the problem is happening.
Please try this out and let me know if this solves the problem. (My fingers are crossed!

It seems to get confused if you put the url, then edit in the img tags. Put the first tag {img} then the url, then the end tag {/img} (but use [] instead of {}).
Tony,
AFTER I hit one of those reply buttons, I get a box where I can type my reply.
Immediately above the box are some formatting buttons (Bold, Italics..). Almost to the end is this button:
, which is used to create a link for a URL.
I'm not sure why you're getting translations from [ to < in your message. I know I was having some initial problems when I had some extra spaces on the line that I put the tags on.
It's kind of amazing that the NEW forum software doesn't make it EASIER to post pictures!
Of course, I'm still amazed that it cannot list active topics by forum...

Where you login and out at top of right side OF PAGE their should be FAQ also update profile. On the left side of page it has welcome back, and your name behind it, also go to research links by Rene at top of page. their is an artical on posting pictures, This is in general discussion , I hope this helps. Ben
I have been posting pictures just like i did on the old forum it has been working for me . I am at MLS with my down loads and bring them from their, to other forums.
TONY take the star out behind img at each end see if that helps. BEN
Oh yes. URL links are just another tag. In this case the tag name is url.
So....the following (if you delete the asterisks) will give you a link to my web page:
[url*]http://www.jbrr.com[/url*]
Deleting the asterisks gives you this:
http://www.jbrr.com
Or, you can use the CREATE LINK button above - just saw that! They need to implement something similar for graphics!
I assume that you have your pictures stored on the internet somewhere.
If you do, you need to enter some img "tags" around your picture location. Tags are keywords surrounded by brackets. There's a start tag and an end tag. The end tag begins with a slash inside the brackets. Something like the following, except delete where I have the *.
[img*]http://www.jbrr.com/assets/images/IMG_2060.jpg[/img*]
