Help With LGB tank car info

Greg:

There are red tanks (pre 1979) and white tanks.  The red ones are rare and valuable.  White ones might go for half their current retail price if in mint condition, particularly the ladders and railings.  You might try a search for a site called "LGB in Bildern".

hello everyone i was hoping someone could help me out with some info. i have an LGB 4040e ESSO tank car that i am planning on selling on ebay. i don't know much about LGB trains i am pretty much only into o gauge. i tried looking for a sililar one on ebay and havent been able to find one.  are there any websites that have info on these cars?
