Another good barometer of what the "market" is paying for it would be to check e-bay and see what like items are going for. This has the added benefit of showing what the buyer will actually
pay
for it and not just what is being asked.

It seems to me that you have to consider what you paid for the items. You didnt mention that so if you got them for free then anything reasonable as low as $500 is going to make the deal worth it for you and whoever buys them. Its a basic example of supply and demand. If they sit in a box and collect dust then they are not really worth anything to you. Sell them off for a good price and make a garden railroader happy and take the cash and buy yourself something nice. Good Luck. Pete

What's it worth? I have LGB, NEW never been used, AT&SF F7 ABA which comes with sound.
I would like to sell them but I have now idea what they are worth. Even though they have never been used they are still a used item. Caboose Hobbies Lists the A unit at $462.66 and the B unit at $373.32, the total would be $1,298.64.
So, what do you think I should sell them for?
