Sounds great. For those in Canada, though, this could be a problem. I don't recall the DIY network as being one of our channel options. Any idea if this would air outside of the States on an equivalent channel?

You might have a look into some of the home satilite dishes. I can get the DIY channel as an addon(more money).

Interestingly enough it was the 15 part television series on the Discovery Channel – ‘Garden Railways’ that got me started. I doubt that the style and presentation would go down well with a US or Canadian audience -as it was full of 'English style' humour.

After the first episode I turned to my wife, looked at her, and she said "yes".

I hope that this series makes a few more converts!!!

DIY channel is shown on Foxtel in Australia, at present they are building a HO Railway. I am hoping they follow with the Garden Railway series.
