Garden railways had an artical not to long ago, try looking in the Index. Sorry my back issues are packed for an up comming finnal,never again move.

The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.

I haven't tried it yet myself, but you could probably use vinyl patching cement. There are color additives you can get from the hardware store which will give it a dirt color, depending on how much you add. (A tiny bit goes a long way!) I use this when I need to match the cement to my rocks.

For a gravel road, maybe use the same mixture but press some grit or crusher fines into the surface.
