I do have it posted there as well. and I agree its to far a drive with the high gas prices to drive 3 hrs to pittsburg for a train club. I think there are enough large scalers in the Erie and surrounding vicinity to make up a small round robin style club. I will have a real nice display at the christmas train show at Rainbow Gardens here in Erie, I believe the dates for the show are the first weekend in November, I post the show on the trains.com website once I get the dates from the show orginaizer. Thanks Mike

You should also post your message on MLS.
In the past, several folks from around, or near your area have inquired about joining the Pittsburgh GRS.. To shorten up the story a bit , the Pittsburgh Garden Railway Society is just a little to much traveling for the folks up north.

New Large Scale Club forming in Erie, PA

I am starting a large scale club in Erie, PA. Meetings on the first Saturday of each month. Round robin style, informal at first. I am not restricting it to garden railways as we get so many months of ugly weather here that many might have indoor layouts as well. Email me at cadetpwr@hotmail.com if interested in joining, once I get 5-10 folks we can set up the first meeting at a neutral site like a park or the beach on lovely Presque Isle state park here in Erie. Thanks Mike T
