Jens Bang's Canadian Grain cars
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 5:20 PM

In the April issue was the great article about Jens Snake River layout.

The article mentioned that he had scratchbuild the Gov of Canada and Alberta cyl grain cars.

I'm hoping that Jens is on the forum and could share with me how to mass produce some for my road. Or, does anyone know if there has been any information posted elsewhere ???

Looking forward to having a dozen of these tied up behind my CP SD40's !!

Apparently Mr Bang corresponds by letter and not computer.

His layout is one I hope to see when I die and (hopefully) go to heaven.

He's in Idaho. His awesome layout was featured in last month's issue of of GR. Very large mainline layout with some incredible scratchbuilt bridges. One of his bridges is longer than my entire yard!

Rene
posted his address, he has no computer other than his friend Grant Minor who builds cars with him. they help me get going in scratchbuilding.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Long live Outdoor Model Railroading.
