as of a few minutes ago...........the run off from the pond is going to run alongside the track down to a drain near the house, it will be a dry river bed that will - just like the real thing - become a river in bad weather.

Well there is a guy in Cuero that is into this stuff as well and he has a nice maybe 7'x 10' set up. One day he was running his LGB Mike and a big rock had worked itself loose and it fell on his mike. You can imagine the outcome.

Ouch! That's something I have to watch out for, with all the rocks on my layout. Already kinked a couple rails on a five-foot section of track that way.

Hi Ian,
Just below the top left hand corner looking up from the decking. I bought track on a visit to Scottish Garden Railways last year and it went in before winter came on. I've just bought a lot of Indian sandstone - as in pic - which is going to form a patio up from the decking to the pond. Hope you and Doreen are ok now you're getting into winter!!

Yes Kim were going ok we are only 4 weeks away from winter the temperature ahsd dropped to a daily range of 16 to 25 C but the days are still bright and sunny, no rain for about three weeks now.

Did you know i have been in hospital had an Atrial Fribulation. Not much for a heart problem but of course anything to do with the heart is a worry.
