Hi Tony,

Hmmmmmmmmm, would you believe I have calendar that shows that the Queensland Labour Day falls on May 1st; printed in the USA, no less.[:)][:)]

Of course it doesn't mention that May 1st is International Labour Day, but that is another story. [;)][:D][;)] Maybe they didn't have enough room to list all the countries.[:p][:p][:D][:D]

Good luck at the show!
Cheers HJ http://www.rhb-grischun.ca/ http://www.easternmountainmodels.com

QUOTE: Is labour day weekend the same in Queensland as in NSW; ie first weekend in October. When i was a boy we used to call it 8 hour day.

Ian.
Perhaps you should think about it.
Why would I be in Queensland this weekend, if the Qld Labour Day weekend is in Oct?[;)]
Labour day holidays vary all over Australia.
The Victorian holiday was in March.

Best wishes,

Tony Walsham
