They're high on my list as soon as my daughter's old enough, so it's good to see them still a going concern.

Playmobil is offering trains again
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 12:27 PM
Hi I normally post in another forum here. I checked and it seem no one has posted this fact here yet. I normally deal in O scale 3 rail but I am a big fan of Playmobil going back to my youth. I noticed in the 2006 catalog that there are trains offered again. This is the first time in several years. The two types are the streamlined train with bubble roofs that they last offered. It almost, sort of looks like an Acela type. The other engine is influnced by Swiss double ended electric engines. Nither seems a real model and they are battery powered. In other words, toys but they may be of interest here I thought.

In the past they had steam engines both Euro and American Old West inspired. Niether of these has shown up yet, maybe next year.

Again I don't know what the general opinion on these offerings are but maybe someone would like them here.
