Way to go CVP!!!!
Posted by jnichols on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 3:07 AM
I just wanted to thank Al, the owner of CVP Electronics, for taking care of the issue concerning the compatibility between the Airwire system and the Soundtraxx Tsunami decoders. So many manufacturers ignore problems, hoping the people who are complaining will go away, so it's really refreshing to have one who cares enough to fix the problem. Not only did Al correct the problem on all the current products, he also sent me two replacement throttles for the ones I had already purhcased free of charge! It's this kind of commitment to customer service that makes casual customers into lifetime customers. I know I include myself in the ladder of those two groups now... [:D]

I agree. I have 5 AirWire receivers installed in my G-scale engines, and use SoundTraxx DSX or Sierra sound systems with them. I have never encountered any problems with them, and CVP has always answered questions in a timely manner and provided excellent repair service.

My only gripe with them is that I consider their EasyDCC user manual to be poorly organized and rather confusing. They need to find someone who can rewrite their documentation for them.
